This policy explains what personal information Sales Magnet Limited ("Sales Magnet", "we", "us") collects through this website and in providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect
When you fill in a form, use our cost calculator, call or email us, we receive what you send us: usually your name, business name, phone number, email address and details about your business and what you need. If you become a client, we also hold the information needed to deliver our services, such as access to your advertising, social media and CRM accounts, and billing details for invoicing. We never collect card details through this website.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver and report on our services, send invoices, and keep in touch about work we are doing for you. Enquiries are stored in the customer relationship management (CRM) system we use, so nothing gets lost. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Cookies, tracking and advertising
This website uses cookies and similar tools, including Google's advertising and analytics tags. These help us understand how visitors use the site, measure which of our ads lead to enquiries (conversion tracking) and, where enabled, show our ads to people who have visited before (remarketing). Google's use of this data is explained at policies.google.com/privacy. You can turn off personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site still works without them.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers that help us run our business: our website and CRM platform, Google (advertising measurement), our email and accounting tools, and the advertising platforms we manage on behalf of clients. Each one uses the information only to provide its service to us. Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a standard comparable to the New Zealand Privacy Act. We disclose personal information to anyone else only if the law requires it.
How we keep it safe
We store information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to the people who need it to do their job.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we reasonably need them for our services and for tax and legal purposes, then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email gareth@salesmagnet.co.nz or daniel@salesmagnet.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link. If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
